Hey all English Club members!! You'll have seen the posters Trish has put up around campus, and she'll be sending out an email announcement, but make sure you come along to the first ever English Club Forum. The topic is Free Speech and the University, and the particular focus is on issues connected to religion and belief. It's from 12-1 (Common Hour), this Thursday, in Bromfield 117, the room next to the library. There'll be a panel discussion among a group of faculty and students to kick off the forum, but participation from the audience will be welcome and expected. It's a hot topic, and it should be fun and interesting, so come along!! The more different viewpoints the better, so don't be shy about chiming in.
See you then (I'll be in the audience like you).

Posted by hhamlin at November 7, 2006 08:02 PMDear English Club Members,
I am on leave and missed the "Free Speech and the University" English Club forum. I am interested in reading impressions of the event from current students who attended the forum, either posted here in the English Club Chatter chat room or by e-mail at savage.109@osu.edu.
Thanks in advance for any student comments,
Scott Savage, Bromfield Library
