Major Assignments
Detailed descriptions of all assignments are linked from the class calendar. They include:

  • A journal for reflecting on the processes you use to produce communication; bring this to every class, because every class will end with 5-10 minutes of writing.
  • A 500-word letter to the editor on a social issue of your choosing.
  • A documentary photography "book" (created in Powerpoint) on your social issue.
  • A research web site (the equivalent of a 5-7 page paper, plus images) on the same topic as your letter to the editor and documentary photography project.
