The AKC offers links to various pure breed rescues and also includes useful information about raising dogs including training, housebreaking and enjoying their companionship.

The Purebred Cat Rescue
The Purebred Cat Rescue offers links to various breeders who have retired purebred cats for adoption and also cats from shelters that can be adopted. The website also features a very useful post board where you can talk about anything related to purebreed cats and adoption.
