There are several visible effects that show up on the outward appearance of a male that is using steroids. Acne development is one of the most common effects that come from the use of steroids(Pope,Kats,infofacts). Users will also get bloated appearance that will make their face look large and fatter then what it actually was before they started the use of their steroids(Anabolic Steroids,espn.com). Those two side effects alone don’t seem to me to be a gain in the social status of popularity.Steroids can also effect your hairline and cause baldness(Tips for teens,anabolic steroids).Just with the effects that I have already mentioned it seems they are just contradicting the original reasons for a person to decide to use steroids. Along with the bloated appearance there will also be a rapid gain of weight(Anabolic Steroids,espn,com).Oh and also, guys, therre have been a lot of cases of bad breath aswell(Tips for teens, anbolic steroids). Again, this really seems to be defeating the purpose. All of these things just don’t seem to be what a user of steroids is actually trying to gain by using them.
