           One of the main problems that the Mormon denomination currently faces includes the Catholic and Protestant faiths. People of the Church of Later-day Saints (a name by which most Mormons refer to themselves) see themselves as Christians; worshipping the same God and acting in much the same manner as their other Christian counterparts. However, many other Christian denominations to which they are so similar (i.e. Catholics and Protestants) see them as an entirely different religion (Intellectual Reserve).

           As can be seen on the chart from religionfacts.com (the first image at the bottom of the page), mainstream Christianity and Mormonism are essentially the same but vary in minor details. Catholics and protestants view Mormonism as a less-dedicated form of religion in practice, one cause for anger being that the mormon view has a differing, escapable form of Hell (as can be seen on the previously mentioned chart) that can offer sinners a complete "get out of jail free" card (Religion Facts). Personally, I am a bit surprised that Mormons are given such a hard time; after all, the Holy Bible (good book of Christianity and both Catholic and Protestant denominations) states in I Corinthians 10:31-32; "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all in the glory of God. Give none offense, neither to Jews, nor Gentiles, nor to the church of God".
