Special thanks to Jeffrey Zeldman Presents for the small images used on these pages and other creative ideas.
This project looks at the web sites of women at colleges and universities; it examines ways in which women are represented or represent themselves on the web, and how these representations embody their subjects.
The project is part of an on-going exploration of women and technology, and was begun in Nan Johnson's seminar in Rhetorics of the Body and Gender, The Ohio State University, Summer 1999.
