The lists generated during the workshop on Modes of Documentary Representation have been posted under LINKS. Take a look, and e-mail me any changes/corrections you'd like to make. Tomorrow we'll consider how Nichol's modes - expository, observational, interactive, and reflexive - fit the films and web sites we've looked at so far in preparation for watching Elizabeth Barret's Stranger with a Camera. We'll also begin a discussion of McCloud's definitions and working vocabulary for comics, and connect them to our understandings of storytelling, narrative, and documentary. Consider in particular the relationships between content and form.
