Documentary Proposal Assignment

In order to have access to the technologies made available to you, you must submit a descriptive proposal for your documentary project. Proposals must include the following:

• Analysis of the topic with documented support (5-8 pages)

• General description of the project, including a list of the materials and equipment you will need and a projected timeline for data collecting (library research, filming, photographing, interviewing, etc.), producing and editing your documentary (2 pages)

• Analysis of targeted audience for the project (1-2 pages)

Your proposal will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

• You take a creative and innovative approach toward the subject matter.

• You carefully consider the project’s scope.

• You articulate a logical relationship between the subject matter and the intended audience.

• You use clear, descriptive prose in your proposal.

• You carefully prepare and present your final proposal.
